Powerlifter Lock Out Back Squats

Powerlifter Lock Out Back Squats need to be done in a power rack cage or off stands with three spotters. This is the finishing part of a full powerlifter squat. Could call it a quarter squat or sometimes just a lock out of say six to eight inches. After you work up doing full and half squats you over load the bar to the point you can just get the weight up to lock out position. You start in the quarter position doing three reps and keep moving the pins up while increasing the weight until you can just get a lock with one rep. One lifter we workout with does a full squat with 750 but works up to a lock out of 1,300 pounds.
