Bodybuilding Supplements ~ Lifting Routines
Tri Tripple Supersets ~ Evetts
What you gain is determined by you!
Combine the Close Grip Pullovers, Lying Triceps Extensions and Close Grip Bench Press into
one exercise. You do all three movements in the exact order described above as one set instead of separate exercises.
We find that results are superior for most people when they do all three together without stopping. They tend to gain arm size, strength and definition when doing all three together. When you are able to use a lot more weight on the close grip bench
than on the triceps extension or pullover do the pullover and lying tricep extension and then spin around and do the close grip bench
press with as much weight as you can handle on the bench press. If you can handle more weight on the bent arm pullover than the lying tricep extension have someone stand behind you and assit you to complete the work without stopping. One set is going to be at least eight of each for 24 total reps. Do little resting between sets.
(1)...Bent Arm Pullovers.
The clip below shows the correct way to do a bent arm pullover, but it is best to do the pullover laying flat not on the top of the bench not on the side of the bench as shown in the clip. We use this as a part of the Evett-Tri-Superset which requires you to lay lengthwise on the bench and pullover from the end, not the side.

(2)...Lying Tricep Extensions.
The demo clip below shows the lifter using a dumbbell but we prefer to use an ez-curl bar in order to use more weight and have better control of the bar.

(3)...Close Grip Bench Press.
Lay flat on the bench and grip the bar with you hands approximately Eight inches apart (not more than 12" at most)
lift the bar off and lower it to your lower chest, pause for a moment and press back to starting position. Repeat for the number of reps listed. Close grip bench press will help with tricep, and upper chest development. Anyone wanting a good bench needs to do the close grip bench press and incline bench press.
The clip below shows the lifter benching into the upper chest. We always bench into the lower chest never high on the chest. We use the U Bench From with an arch for our powerlifters as you need to keep the same form to increase your bench.
