Bench Press Creep Downs

Builds endurance, strength and toughness of the triceps, shoulders, chest and mind.

Take hold of the bar in the same manner you do when doing a max pause on a flat bench press. Lower the weight to your chest and pause for five seconds and press it back to lock out and repeat. It should take at least 15-20 seconds for bar to touch chest. Use enough weight that it is not easy to do three reps. Three reps should take at least a minute to complete. If you have worked heavy on the flat bench before you do creep downs you will find that you do not need a real heavy weight to benefit. We like to have a spoter help with an overload set on on non max week.
